The garden where Marion tended to her bees?

Soon we were walking outside the cathedral and had entered a garden. Alys believed that this location might have been used as the garden in Nottingham Castle where Marion engaged in her beekeeping in “Robin Hood and the Sorcerer”. It seemed plausible to me, so I took a couple of pictures. Even it if isn’t the right spot, it looks pretty, doesn’t it?

Because we still had some time left, we decided to visit Bishop’s Palace. However, we were faced with a dilemma. It cost £2 per person to go in, but if we could form a group of ten people or more it would only cost £1. Kirsty the Scot was determined to save a quid, so she rounded up some extra people! *g* Fortunately, some other con attendees had also decided to visit Bishop’s Palace. They were happy to form a group with us so, as we had a group of at least 10 people, we saved a quid...This may not sound like a lot, but if you had seen how much I had spent at the dealers tables the day before you’d understand!

One of the first things we came across was a statue of a monk that looked like Gulnar! It was very strange! I think I took a picture of it, but it didn’t turn out... :-( Another strange event involved some ducks we could see from the Rampart Walk. I had lagged behind (as usual) and, when I climbed the stairs to the rampart, I couldn’t figure out why so many people were leaning over the side and staring into the Wells.
