Welcome to the Robin of Sherwood Webring! The aim of this ring is to encompass all sites, forums, discussion groups, and communities containing ROS content, whether it's episode guides and synopses, picture galleries, sound bites, fan fiction, actor biographies, filmographies, or whatever else Herne has commanded you to create.

If your site fits this description, why not join the Robin of Sherwood Webring? You’ll impress all your friends and Herne might take pity on you the next time you find yourself traipsing through the woods... *g*

Becoming a member of the RoS Webring is now easier than ever. Here’s what you need to do to join:

1.) Copy and paste the coding below:

<CENTER> <A href="http://nastyknight.20m.com/rosring.html"> <IMG src="IMAGE.jpg" border=0></A> </CENTER>

As you’ll notice, part of the code is in red. That’s because you have a choice of banners to use. You may also design your own.

If you choose to use one of the banners below, you’ll need to save it and upload it into your filemanager or whatever you use to edit your site. Also make a note of the file name of the image so you can add it to the coding.

In search of more banners? Well, Pem at Lockleysford has designed dozens of wonderful banners! Just remember to save the banner you'd like in your filemanager and use the correct image file name in your ring code:

Here's the coding I used for the Robin of Sherwood Webring:

<CENTER> <A href="http://nastyknight.20m.com/rosring.html"> <IMG src="rh2b.jpg" border=0></A> </CENTER>

And here’s what it looks like as a working ring banner. If you’ve copied
and pasted your code correctly, you should have something similar:

Although I'd prefer it if members include a banner, I know that some people are unable to use HTML coding. That's why I've created a new policy at the Robin of Sherwood Webring. As long as you can provide a link to the Robin of Sherwood Webring from somewhere, I'll be happy. For example, many of the forums and discussion groups (such as YahooGroups) that I've come across seem to have a section for links, so linking to the Robin of Sherwood Webring from there would work for me. Administrators of Live Journal communities should be able to include links or banners under the profile section. However you choose to do it, please use the following URL:

http://nastyknight.20m.com/rosring.html

2.) Once you've added a banner or link, please send an email to claire_stemp@hotmail.com with the following details:

a) The words "RoS Webring" in the subject line.

b) An address and summary of your website.

For example:

Subject: RoS Webring

http://nastyknight.20m.com/rosring.html

The aim of the Robin of Sherwood Webring is to encompass all sites, forums, discussion groups, and communities containing ROS content, whether it's episode guides and synopses, picture galleries, sound bites, fan fiction, actor biographies, filmographies, or whatever else Herne has commanded you to create.

3.) Once you've followed the steps from 1.) and 2.) it should just be a matter of waiting to hear from me. If I accept you as a member of the Robin of Sherwood Webring, I will send you an email and add your site to the index. If you have any questions or problems about anything concerning the ring, please email me at claire_stemp@hotmail.com.

I'm eternally indebted to JD Valdez for designing these beautiful banners for the ring! I'm also extremely
grateful to Heather for creating a COOL Gisburne banner and Irina for designing some Michael Praed banners!
